I have modeld a 10mX5mX0,250m wall and i gett som funny ansers.. A quick hand calculation has been done and the force at the botom should be 2400kN/m. how combe i'w got 3104kN/m.. done the same calculation in FEM design and got the same as the hand calculations..
It would be a bit easier if you attach both the model and your hand calcs. I'm aware that you have high expectations but without even knowing what load you applied ....
In your hand calculations you assumed that the cross section does not 'deform' (is flat). This is not true for FEM and the results depends on mesh size. The denser mesh is the larger value at the corner is obtained. You can see this displaying FZ diagram for linear support.
