Diameter symbol

Does anyone know how to get symbols, like diameter, to show up in text?

Thanks,

Jeremy

Use the Microsoft character map. Go to "Run" type charmap. Find the diameter symbol click the button "Select" then the button "Copy" then go back to your text in Revit and go to "Edit" and "Paste from Clipboard"...and there you go.

Now if we just had superscript 4, and decent centerline and plate symbols that are text instead of line symbols!

Thanks, I really appreciate it. Are there other symbols available and if so
is there a list.

Thanks again,

Jeremy

Yes, there is a list. Use character map as mentioned by previous poster.
the ALT code is noted in the bottom right corner, as you click on the
symbols.

or http://www.tedmontgomery.com/tutorial/ALTchrc.html

other options:

note, the charachter you get with each alt code may differ depending on the
