Weldolet, pipe branch connection

I am attempting to connect a branch pipe (8" dia.) to a pipe main (10" dia.). I would prefer to have a weldolet connection to the main with the branch coming off of it. If a weldolet is not possible, can I "stub in" a branch without revit defaulting to putting in a full size tee, with a reducer on the branch section to the smaller diameter pipe?

Thank you in advance for any help on this topic.

If you wish to have a different type of default connection, you will, of course, need a Revit Family to represent it loaded into the Project. You can assign this Family as the default connection type for a specific Pipe Type. Either select a segment of that Pipe or find it in the Project Browser and go to Type Properties. Under "Routing Preferences", you can assign the default families for each Fitting Category.
