Problems in exporting Revit model to Autocad

We are preparing MEP models in Revit, but are facing problem in exporting the views to Autocad. The fittings do not remain in place and get scattered in CAD file. Can this be avoided, and if the drawings can be published in CAD?

The interoperability between Revit and AutoCAD isn't perfect. You are going to get unexpected results.
If you export to Acad of course you can publish from there.

I realize that this is an old post, but I'm still facing this issue using Revit MEP 2013. Has anyone found a solution to this problem?

Thanks,
