i wanted to make a 1/2" coated wire mesh material. in acad i renered a 1/2" section to file.

then in a paintshop i made a tansparent image and cutout png file.  both have the same dimensions and bit count.

in revit i made the material from image and it looks great but when i apply the cutout it does not line up with the same scale settings applies to both.  thanks, alex

When setting up the material image, and the cutout, make sure that the scale listed for both is the same. I found when I setup a new material, even though the size of the two images were the same, the defaults for scale were different.
