I am very puzzled by this situation I ran into.
I had this crop region and annotation crop checked to be visible, I didn't see the elevation tag.
After I unchecked them, the elevation tag showed up.
Then I noticed there is a thick rectangular frame there, it seems to be viewport. So I wonder if adjusting the viewport size can make the elevation tag invisible? How to adjust viewport size then?
I thought it might be the crop region shape, so I tried simple rectangle crop region, the elevation tag still showed up even though it was not within the crop region and not within the annotation crop. Don't crop region and annotation crop alone control what are to be included in the view?
I might not have made my question clear, let me give it another try. The problem is the crop region and annotation crop don't exclude unwanted objects when they are turn off to be invisible. It seems the visibility of the crop region has effect on the visibility of the view content, it shouldn't, right?
- When I had the crop region and annotation crop turned on, everything was fine. When I single clicked the view NOT activated the view, I saw a rectangle there which was very close to the crop region. I want to mention - this rectangle I am talking about is invisible until I single click the view, I didn't activate the view.
- When I turned off the crop region and annotation crop - they were invisible but obviously they should still be working - however, some elevation tags popped out. When I single clicked the view NOT activated the view, I could see a rectangle there and the unwanted elevation tags were within the rectangle. This rectangle is not visible if I didn't touch the view.
It looks like this rectangle controls the visibility of the elevation tags.
