surface placeholders and center of gravity

if i have dummy part or a surface placeholder i have a problem with the center of gravity in the assembly. I can update the mass of the assembly by editing the mass of the dummy part manually. Inventor also show me in the dummy part that the center of gravity is inside the origin of the part. But in the assembly the center of gravity is not updated with the mass of the dummy part.
