I know there is the option to RC on the detail boundary to change the label to have an extension leader, but why not make this an option in the styles to be able to have the leader as the default.
Many of our detail views here are very small detail boundaries on a large object, so we use the leaders more often than not. The combination of this idea with mine would be very nice for us.
