text on curve in drawing IV2010 - how to hide curve?

I have used the Geometry Text command in the sketch mode to apply text that follows an arc I have sketched. That part works very well. However, the arc is intended only for a construction line. How do I hide it? I can change the color, but don't seem to be able to make it invisible. Thanks for your help.

Are you in drawing (idw) or in part (ipt)? In drawing can you set the properties of the arc to Sketch Only?

Don't think you can make it invisible.. But you can change it to the same color as your drawing sheet.

I am in the drawing mode. When I select the arc and go to properties, I do not see any choice for sketch only.

When I saw the menu view you attached, that showed me what to do. You are correct. The sketch only icon choice for the arc does just what I needed. Thank you very much for your help.
