WEIRD MESSAGE...

Got a error message when inserting a part into an assy, "could not
modify library..".. any ideas on how to clear this?

actually, looking at the project file, some of my paths are now "red" whats
that all about?

There is a word document on the IV 6 CD about project files.

D:\Documentation\Autodesk Inventor 6 File Management.doc

It will answer both of your questions and several others....

It's red if you have defined a workgroup path as a sub-folder of an existing
workgroup path.

Also, the library read error could possibly be caused by a library path that
is a read-only directory and the i-factory cannot create it's i-part member.
