Annoying Message

When I open an idw after changes to the iam, I get the message:

"The following components referenced by this drawing needs to be updated.
The drawing reflects their current state...."

Since Inventor takes so long to open some of my drawings, I will usually get
Inventor started opening a drawing, then leave my office and do other tasks.
I come back 5 minutes later and see this message. Now I am forced to
constantly watch/wait for the message before I can leave.

I consider this to be a NAG screen and is totally useless. If Adesk thinks
it is necessary, at least add it to the "Prompted" list so that I can chose
to NEVER show it again.

Is there anyway to turn it off? Anyone else annoyed by this?

Kirk

Yes, it is annoying and not very helpful. The ability to turn off the
message and have the drawing proceed to update as needed would be more
helpful to me.

I think I can program it out if Jiml will allow me the time to put it together this weekend 🙂 Mike
