Running a macro in a template part

How do you run a macro in a part using a toolbar button if the macro is in a template part. I tried adding a button to the toolbar, but it only works for the default.ivb. I know I can go to Tools, Macro, Macro's, then select the file, then the macro name, but there's got to be an easier way?

______
Thanks,

Mike

I think you need to put the macro in a module in the "Application Project".
Open the template part file then press Alt-F11. Find the macro then paste it
into a module in the "Application Project". Then the macro will be available
whenever Inventor is running.

Thanks Wade. I'd like to keep the code with the template part file, but I figured out I can use sendkeys as a workaround to all the steps I had originally.

Sounds like a plan, Sendkeys can be very useful at times.

Good luck,
