AdLM uses UDP packets. As far as the protocol is concerned, delivery is
assumed when the packet is sent. If delivery actually fails, no resend will
occur. AdLM on the other hand detects that an out of sequence packet has
been received. This problem can be caused by a number of network conditions
such as faulty devices (NICs, routers, hubs, wire) or faulty network software
(drivers, corrupted clients or servers) or network over saturation.
Depending on when and how often these errors occur, AdLM and AutoCAD may be
able to recover. Are you having specific problems? If so, please describe
in as much detail as possible including how often, any patterns in
occurrence and what works to get thing working again. This information may
give us a clue on what is causing this.
