I was having problems with my CIVIL 3d 2010 installation so I decided to reinstall it. I have the DVD's. I could not get the reinstall to work. I tried a lot of things and finally used Revo-installer to uninstall it. I did not do the complete registry deletion. It was still reading keys after 30,000 so I stopped it and did the "safe" option instead.
I did delete some keys that I found listed on one of the support pages. I also deleted the autocad folders in Program Files and Common Files folders.
When I put the DVD in, the option to install CIVIL 3d 2010 is grayed-out and a message notes " A newer version is already installed".
Help - Please.

Thanks - The Microsoft Tool did delete it so that the DVD didn't see a previous install. It still failed to install, but I'll start another message for that.
