network install problems: 2002 products

We are upgrading to 2002 products ona novell server.
When we run the 'netsetup' the images are created but the 'APPSETUP.INF ' files are empty.
** Will the network 'client' install correctly if these files are empty.
We run the setup file and the products (R2002; MAP 2002 and LAND 2002) install OK except when we come to Civil Design 3 and Survey 3.
When promted for the serial numbers and key codes the boxes are 'GREYED" out in Civil Design and Survey.
Any suggestions.

Hi,

I've seen all sorts of problems lately with the
4.83 Novell client drivers.   Usually problems happen when writing
to INI or INF files.    I'm pretty sure one of the
updates Novell posted will correct the problem:
