Won't install 32-bit AutoCAD Architecture on 64-bit operating system

I was having a lot of problems with the power of the student licensed version of AutoCAD Architecture 2013 on my old Windows XP Professional computer. So the natural solution was to get a new more powerful computer. So I used the License Transfer Utility...the Revit programs had already built in them the ability to migrate to the 64 bit operating system, but, AutoCAD Architecture 32 bit 2013 (a high priority prgram) and 3ds Max (a low priority program) do not have that migration feature built in. I was looking at the Windows and MAC Cross Platform licensing at http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/mform?siteID=123112&id=18656368&linkID=9240618

I did register and download the AutoCAD but afraid to run it, I definitely need AutoCAD Architecture becasue Architecture has become one of my top 5 focuses in life.

It keeps telling me that I am "attempting to use a 32-bit installer on a 64-bit operating system. Please exit and use the 64-bit installer availble from your installation media or from Autodesk.com." I am not seeing that I migrated any 64-bit installer from the old boot drive that is no more because of new computer build and the reformatting of that hard drive. I will check the files that I backed up again.

But will I be able to use the same original Serial Number and Product Key? I prefer to keep the same license term on my current Serial Number and Product Key.

Hi graphicsimass,

You will be able to keep the same serial number and product key when you download the appropriate version for your system.
