Upgrade vs rental

I asume there's no discount rental price for someone who already has AutoCAD LT (i.e. a 'upgrade' rental) therefore I have a question - if I move to a rental can I keep my existing AutoCAD Lt license as a separate license? In case I decide to cancel my rental agreement?

they don't offer autocad lt as a rental

They ofer the Inventor LT Suite and the Revit Lt Suite, both of which bundle AutoCAD LT. For future reference, the answer to my question, according to Autodesk Chat, is Yes. You can keep your current license as a separate license.
