Unable to Uninstall Autodesk Revit Architecture 2014

I am trying to install Autodesk Revit Architecture 2014 but it tells me that it is already installed. I had a previous installation removed but apparently it was not removed entirely. I tried using the Autodesk Uninstall tool to removed it but that also failed. I have attached a print screen with the view that is shows when it fails.

Does anyone know of a tool that can be used to removed it so I can reinstall the products?

You should be able to remove the product using the Microsoft Fix It utility.

Thanks,

Danny

I tried the tool but it did not find Revit installed. I have check just about every registry key that has revit on them and deleted them however, the installer is still telling me that revit is installed.

I do not know what else to do.

Did you manually delete The program folders too?
What if you just accept the findings and continue with the Ibstallation, then follow it with a full "repair" reinstall?
Try using a registry cleaner first, then restart Windows after the cleaner stops findings issues. I like CCLEANER myself but there are others.out there.

The installation cannot go any further, its either back or cancel. The
program is not on the machine so it cannot be repaired.

To Diagnose and Fix installation problems automatically, please see the new Microsoft tool for this here:

http://support.microsoft.com/mats/Program_Install_and_Uninstall

For more information on the Autodesk KB Support article concerning the clean uninstall of Autodesk products, see this link:

http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/ps/dl/item?siteID=123112&id=2887771&linkID=9240617

For all other installation problems on Windows XP SP2 or below consider using the Microsoft Installer Clean Up Utility. For more information on this program, please my forum post here:

I have not tested the MSICUU2.exe on Windows 8 yet.  Could be disasterous...

daley1234,

Hello. You could delete these two registry keys. These are the main Revit Architecture keys that would cause your issue:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\Installer\Products\0A4B643700410110000007C5D0680240

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\Installer\Products\0A4B643700411110409007C5D0680240

You need to edit those keys in the registry. Here is an article showing how to open and edit the registry: http://www.wikihow.com/Edit-the-Windows-Registry
