Un-installing Autodesk FBX Plug-in 2012.0 - 3ds Max Design

Hi,

I was wondering if there is a command line switch for quiet or passive un-installation.  I have tried all the typical switchs e.g: /q, /qn, /passive, /silent

C:\Program Files\Autodesk\FBX\FBXPlugins\2012.0\3ds Max Design 2012 64-bit\Uninstall.exe

Thanks,

David

i couldn't remember trying /s so I tried again and it gives me the gui to step through it.  I as tried /S too and it looks like the .exe starts and quits.  So no luck in this.

Hi

I am also trying to use the uninstaller to remove the FBX plug-in silently.  I have looked through the Nullsoft documentation and the switch they say should work is /S:-

http://nsis.sourceforge.net/Docs/Chapter3.html#3.2.1

When I run "C:\Program Files\Autodesk\FBX\FBXPlugins\2012.0\3ds Max 2012 64-bit\Uninstall.exe" /S I cannot even see the process start in the task manager.

Hashim can you test this yourself and make sure this is not a bug with the 2012 unistaller?

Thanks,
