Serial Number Blank

I am trying to install version 2011 and noticed that for all of our products the Serial Number is left blank.  All I see is the dash between the two number sequences.  I had DVD's shipped because downloading was way to much hassle and time consuming for me.  Anyway, now I am trying to install software and it won't let me.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Your serial number and product key are available in your Subscription center where you would have downloaded the program.
