I get the same error when attempting to use the GSI supplied SAMPLE.RL report log. Does anyone know of a SAMreport discussion group? All of the support on the Globetrotter site seems to be geared toword FLEXlm.
Using your favorite text editor create a file called adskflex.opt in the license folder. In the file type
Save the file. Now create a folder called c:\FlexLM. Stop the service (lmtools.exe) and restart it. It will start writing to the

Ooops. Stuck it in the wrong folder. It needed to be in the same folder as the lmgrd.exe file, not in a seperate 'license' folder. OK, now, it generated a adlmlog.rl file - very happy. But i go to use that file and the error generated is the same: "unable to generate report-error: no report logs to process"

It looks like samlite doesn't like the license file that you "fed" it. Try un-installing it and re-installing. During the
installation you should be asked to specify the license file.
It looks like you have 3 licenses specified in the current license path??? Why???
I have the info that I got from globetrotter on the samreport lite license in the same license file as the autodesk stuff as well (I
don't know if I'm supposed to have it there, but I do).

Well, to uninstall, i had to stop the FLEXlm service, and, after reinstalling SAMreport, i could not start the Flex service again. What went wrong? I've starting a new post for this new problem: FLEXlm NT service not starting.
