Is there a 42bit download of your REVIT version? Looks like you are using the 64bit download.
And why may I ask would you actually buy the 32bit version of Win8? Is your hardware subpar too?

Revit 2014 isn't supported on Windows 8 32-bit.

Hi @Anonymous & @Anonymous

Check out the System Requirements here... http://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/revit-products/troubleshooting/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/System-Requirements-for-Autodesk-Revit-2014-Products.html

Also, please refer to the following Autodesk Knowledge Article here... http://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/revit-products/troubleshooting/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/Operating-system-compatibility-for-Autodesk-Revit-products.html

Revit 2014 is available as a 32 Bit installer but is not supported on Windows 8.

As advised by others, consider x64 Bit and move away from x32.

I believe there may be a work around but you have to install .NET Framework (includes .NET 2.0 and 3.0) before you can install Revit.

Go to Control Panel --> Click on Uninstall or Change a program --> on the left click on Turn Windows features on or off.

This will install these features which will allow you to install Revit 2014, 2013 and 2012.

Regards,

Duncan
