I am receiving an error messaging after downloading saying that my operating system is not compatible. I have windows 7. and Intel core i7. Not sure if that is the issue. Is there any way that I am going to be able to download this or is it hopeless??

Sorry I am installing the 32 bit version of AUTOCAD

You cannot install 32-bit on a 64-bit system or vice versa. Please download the correct version for your OS.
