We have two different machines in the office that for some reason have developed this problem of the Portable License Utility no longer working. We don't use it a lot, but like anything, when we needed it today it bonks out.
When starting the "Portable License Utility" from the Start menu, it immediately comes up with an error stating "This program cannot find any AutoDesk products on this computer", and both machines most definitely DO have fully licensed/activated/operating copies of LDT companion 2009 on them.
Does anyone have any ideas what could be causing this behavior? Thanks!

I do not know why you are getting the error, but you might want to try using License Transfer Utility:
You will need an Internet Connection, and an Autodesk user ID and password, available from the Autodesk Register Once website:
