Using ACAD 2000, if I log onto a client machine (newly installed acad 2000) as NT administrator, in the ACAD print menu I see all local and network printers which are installed in the windows printer menu. But, if I log on the workstation with the users account, then some printers are not present in the ACAD print menu, even though they are still present in the windows printer menu. It appears as though it's somehow related to the users profile, but I don't know how to update the clients profile to show all the windows printers that are available. I've even uninstalled ACAD, reloaded all the windows printers, then reinstalled ACAD, but still no luck. Any suggestions on what file holds the printer/plotter information for each client, or how I can get the client account to show all windows printers in ACAD? (FYI, this is not related to the plotter manager, or add plotter wizard. If you just hit the print button, it should allow you to print directly to any windows printer. Logged on as administrator, all printers show up. But, logged on as client, many do not appear.) This is reposted from printer and plotter forum.
