Menus on Server

I am thinking of moving our "Custom" cad directory to the server, instead of
having copies of all the same blocks, menu (mnu), lisps, etc. on everyone's
station. Are there problems with doing this? I.e., what happens when
someone changes their toolbars?

I'm not sure about A2K, but in R12 we have every thing on the server,
blocks, lisp routines, etc.... The only files that still have to be on the
clients computer are the MENU, the ACAD.CFG, and ACAD.INI files. If you
then later have an update to the custom menu you can send an e-mail
instructing the users to close AutoCAD and execute a batch routine that
copies the new menu locally to their computer.

Once again this is in R12. I don't know what else you would have to change
in newer versions.
