License file upgrade

We are getting ready to upgrade to AutoCAD2004. We currently have a network license for AutoCAD 2000i. Is it possible to have the new license file and the existing one running at the same time? We need to know if this is possible to be able to run our test installs.

Thanks,
B

They are different licensing systems as you might know. AutoCAD 2002 and later are using FLEXlm. And yes it's possible to run them at the same time during a transition period. -- Best Regards, Jimmy Bergmark CAD and Database Developer Manager at www.pharmadule-emtunga.com Take a look at JTB FlexReport (FLEXlm report tool) - www.jtbworld.com/jtbflexreport SmartPurger (Purges automatically) - www.jtbworld.com/?/smartpurger.htm or download some freeware at www.jtbworld.com More on AutoCAD 2005; www.jtbworld.com/autocad2005.htm "bflores" wrote in message news:9483960.1082559312392.JavaMail.jive@jiveforum1.autodesk.com... > We are getting ready to upgrade to AutoCAD2004.
