License file question...

we are running mdt6, networked, using the tcp/ip license manager. we are haveing a lot of server problems causing it to be randomly offline. when offline i have engineers who cannot run mdt6 due to lack of communication with license manager. I have noticed there is an option to 'specify' license file... is there any way to have a good license file on the workstations, or on a disk, so that we can continue to run when the server is down?

Any thoughts...

Thanks

The only way for the FlexLM to serve out licenses
is as a single server, distributed servers, or redundant servers. You are
presently using a single server. Redundant is like using more than one single
server on the network and allotting a fixed number of licenses to each server
which you can not change on the fly. Redundant servers require three servers on
the network and all licenses are available to each server.
