Is there a way to create a DVD of the software once it is downloaded?

I downloaded both ACA and Revit Arch from the subscription site. I am however not able to create a DVD from these files once unzipped from the EXE format. Is there a way to do this? The IT Guys hate having all these files sitting on the server.

Thanks for the help.

The downloaded installer files will need to be in a single location to run them. If you put them on a DVD this would be a suitable Backup medium but not good to run the installer from. I'd suggest a USB thumb drive.

You will want to extract the archive or copy the resultant contents to the USB device. Check my posting here:

Thank you. I extracted the EXE to a location then tried to burn it to a DVD. It starts fine from the DVD but has a message to install disk 1 blah blah blah, once you hit the install or create deployment options. I will us a thumb drive instead to keep the server free of these files and please the IT department.

Thanks again for the help.

Hi,

When you burn the DVD you must indicate a
name.

Search setup.ini in the directory of the
product.

Open it and search disk_label=

Then you have the name of the DVD.

Then It never ask for disk1 or 2.
