Inventor R5 NLS (Elan) timeout license release problem

Hi One of our customers has several Inventor R5.0 NLS licenses, which means Elan as ADLM.
The problem is that if a user are exiting Inventor there can go up to 4 hours, before the
license is released, whick is unexeptable.

On Autodesk's knowledgebase the only article (TS66873) describes a TIMEOUT variable for FlexLM
but unfortunately not for Elan.

I saw following "LogOFF" utility, here: http://www.cadstudio.cz/logoff
But it really can be true that our customer has to buy additional software to get functionality
which is expected.

Hi,

I'm not sure if this will have any effect with Inventor but you might try
creating a resource file for the Elan ADLM and use something called
HOLDTIME. More info in knowledgebase in article nr: TS65329
