Installation problem - Autocad 2010 on Xp64 - Directx9.0c

I'm trying to install Autocad 2010 on my Windows 64-bit professional with Directx 9.0c (version 4.09.0000.0904)

and for some reason it will not recognize I already have the directx needed to run Autocad 2010 so when it attempts to reinstall it says:

"An internal system error occurred.

Please refer to DXError.log and DirectX.log in your Windows folder to determine problem."

The DxError.log says:

"
