Error 2 when attempting to activate, though serial key is correct

I cant seem to activate my student maya 2014, as whenever i go through the registeronce it just tells me "The serial number you have entered is not valid. Try Again. (Error 2)" Even though i am using the maya serial key that was emailed to me no more than an hour ago..

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Can you please send me a Private Message (click on my camilo.lemos profile name and then on Send This User a Private Message) with the serial number and product key you are using to activate your copy of Maya 2014?
