Error [1.5.-12]

Does anyone know of any other reasons this error might come up after performing the solution options listed in the knowledge base ID: TS68138 for this specific network AdLM error.
The ports 2080 and 27000-27009 are open on both the client and server. Also, the license server has been tried on 2 separate server boxes (with an appropriate license file for each). Client OS is WinXP, server OS is 2000 Server. Windows firewall has been disabled and there are no hardware firewalls nor routers.

Do you have any software for PDA or Cell phones installed on the client? There is no software for PDA nor cell phones installed. The only running application is Trend Micro's Office Scan (anti-virus software).
