we have successfully made a deployment for Autocad LT2012. everything works fine, but after startup the software first time it is asking for an activation (we have placed our licence-key during the installation into the setup).
We only have the choice to activate or to try for 30 days. For our Company it is VERY IMPORTANT that our users CAN´T and don´t have to click on any activation button.
So my question is : where can I set a value in the deployment that this question never comes up at the first startup ?
Thank you very much.
This will not be possible for standalone licensing, each license needs to be bound to the computer running it.
first activation needs to be run individually on machines or done manually.
OK, I understood, but is there another way to activate it silent ? Perhaps we add a script to run a hidden task for it ? Because we don´t want, that any of our user need to click some buttons and give any Company-Information outside. We want to save all activation information on a central place.
Would be glad to hear from you. It is also possible, that we discuss this on phone. If it is possible for you to contact me on this way.
Sounds like you'd benefit from Network licensing. You can control the licensing from a central server and deploy your clients without activation to as many seats as you'd like. Concurrent usage would depend on the number of licenses you own. This would take any liability from the end-user completely. Might ask your reseller.
