Last weekend I shortly visited work for updating the Vault and Inventor installations. On allmost all workstations the installation of SP2 of Vault client (Autodesk Vault 2014 Service Pack 2 (Client).msp) took a very long time. I waited for an hour and then went home, not knowing what went wrong.
This morning the affected workstations showed a window asking for the path for Vault.msi. The pre-filled path pointed to the deploymentpath on our old Vault-server (which is recently removed from the network).
I change the path to \\Vault\Deploym... (formerly \\Vault01\Deploym...) and the installation was instantly done.
Can I change this path by default...?
