Cannot Install Civil 3D 2014 Service Pack 1 - Error Code 1603

Service pack 1 for Civil 3D 2014 will not install as it asks for the installation DVD but I only have the USB key that IDSP 2014 was supplied on.

Screen shots show the errors I'm getting (to be read in order 08_36_35 then 08_36_55 then 08_37_42)

I have successfully installed the Service pack on my laptop and was not required to insert the original media

The screenshot below shows the Registry Key for the installer - (I browsed to this location when prompted to located the install files but the install still failed)

That's annoying...

Have you tried browsing out to your USB media especially for that file and choosing it manually?  I guess worst case, you can burn a DVD.  Hmm...

Yes I tried browsing to find the file which is when the error appeared about admin privileges.

My workaround was to copy the folder containing the MSI file to a temp folder on my C drive and the installation worked
