Can 2002 and 2004 Licenses co-exist?

This is my first time setting up the LM. (the 2K2 version was already
installed when I got here.) If I install the 2004 version will the 2002
license still work. I want to test 2004 on a few machines before I do a
complete rollout, but I (naturally) I want to avoid any problems with
2002... Any help is always appreciated. Thanks!

I would think so since you'll have different .lic files, or if you merge
them together one, but with the license info for both versions. From the
EULA, I believe you can have your old version installed for 60 or 90 days
after you have purchased an upgrade from that version.

Just make a backup copy of your lic file and not much. The worst, your
users won't be able to get a license and even that can be fix in a minute or
two.

Yeah. I was surprised there was no mention of this in the 110 page Net
Admin Guide or the 38 pages of the licensing guide. Nothing about
overlapping upgrades or about having AutoCAD and, say, ADT on the same
network...

It is odd that the manual doesn't mention it, because you know it happens to
almost every user's network. As Kevin mentioned, since each CAD type has
its own lic file, you can have ADT and 2004 and 2002 all living happily on
the same server. This holds true for any other software using FLm.
