Autodesk 3ds max 2012 product key invalid

So.. I recently signed up for the education 3 year trial for the autodesk 3ds max 2012, and my serial key worked fine but it doesnt accept the product key.. I made sure it was correct as well. Any help?

it should be: 128D1

I used that key and there is still a red x..

Is there a request code visible? Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling? Do you have any other Autodesk products installed on that same machine that you no longer use? Sometimes activations pull in other product information that exists on the computer. Let us know, thanks!

this is whati I see,i  removedthe seri al key for obvious reasons.

Hi Angel,

Did you copy-paste the 128D1 product key or typed?

If you paste it you could have a space at the end and causing this red cross.

Here is the product key for 2012 and how we can see 128D1 is the correct product key.
