AutoCAD Plant 3D 2014 Install Error 1406

When I try to install Plant 3D 2014 for the first time it gives the error:

Autodesk AutoCAD Plant 3D 2014
Error 1406. Could not write value Vlass to key
\Software\Classes\CLSID\[02D535A6-E164-4A9B-840E-E96D74B6A567}\I
nprocServer32\17.0.54.0. Verify that you have sufficient access to that key, or contact support personnel.
[Abort] [Retry] [ Ignore]

installing on Win7 64bit.

Any ideas?

it gets stuck at 6 of 10 remaining of  the 'AutoCAD Plant 3D 2014' phase.

This is usually due to an old Flash player being installed.  Typically you can hit ignore (about a dozen times) and it will complete.

However, if you want to drill down in the registry to that key location, you can take ownership of that problematic section and give yourself proper rights.  Here's an example of how to do it on a different location than yours (but the process is the same):

Thanks! Uninstalling Java using the online uninstall tool fixed it.
