AutoCAD 2011 for Mac Crashes on Start

I downloaded and installed AutoCAD2011 twice and both times everything worked fine, but it always Crashes on the loading screen. No error message or anything.  Can anyone help with this?

Same here. Couldn't run the application even once. No crash report.

Mac Os X Console only reports "Launching: /Application/Autdesk/Adlm/R1/LMU.app/Contents/MacOS/LMU"

That's all.

System: Mac Pro 2.6GHz dual. 4GB Ram. Mac Os X 10.6.4

It has to do with the video card... I guess. I tried on hackintosh, and then on real iMac model 8.1, and on hackintosh with nVidia GT240 it didn't work, but it worked on the real Mac.

In System Preferences / Language & Text. On Language tab drag English to the top. If not present, add it from the Edit List... button below.

My default language is English and my MacBook is a Unibody 6,2 with an i5 2.53GHz 4GB and Tons of disk space available and it still doesn't work. Any suggestions?

Switching default system language to English really solves the problem (for me). Tested and confirmed!

I have a brand new MacBook pro and the language is set to English and it still crashes when I try to open it. Isn't there a tech  support phone number I could call to talk to someone?

you have to set english as the first language on the first tab of system settings:Language&Text not on input sources tab!

if that doesn't work then there is some other problem... about which I don't have a clue!

Changing language didn't solved it for me, still crashing on startup w/o any error code ...

any solution?

I think this is a major bug with AutoCAD. If I actually bought this software instead of getting for free with my current EDU status. I'd be angry beyond words. Software that costs this much should not have this kind of bug.

Can a tech please come and answer this?

Did not work for me either. Still crashes at launch, although it responds quicker now (loading screen comes up quicker).
