3ds max 2013 and 2014 crashes on startup

I have been using 3ds max 2013 for a long time and it has been working perfectly. Then I installed the 2014 version and that worked pretty well.

But suddently OUT OF NOWHERE my 3ds 2014 chrashes. Well that's no problem, I'll just open it up again. Nope. I try again and again. But I keep getting a crash report and I keep sending reports to autodesk. I try to reinstall, but no luck there. Then I try to install the 2013 version but that crashes aswell.

All it does is showing me the small loading screen then it stops at "Starting 3ds MAX" and crashes. I have downloaded the most recent software update for both applications what do I do?

Welcome to the community.

These are sometimes hard to figure out.  This could be a result of a Windows Update or perhaps you need to update your video card driver to a WHQL driver. 

You might first try a system restore back to when it worked.  Then update your video card driver.
