3D Max Design 2013 activation error

I've downloaded via my Subscription account and install it smoothly. However, upon launching max, when promt to activate, the Autodesk Licensing dialog box appears and it just hang without any text or graphics. Tried re-installing twice with same problem.

I had exact the same problem, I solved it by downgrading my Internet Explorer to version 8.0.7600.16385, none of the other versions worked for me.

Spoiler

Tried the solution suggested, still don't work. Tried everything from uninstalling my AntiVirus and updating my Java, set the IE settings still same problem persist. I'm getting annoyed at this activation issue. I've been using version 9 till 2012 without any activation problems up to this 2013. I expect the 2013 version to be able to sync with the latest IE versions? A simple activation becomes problematic.

Sorry, to say, but 2013 has the same problem, I tried it with 2012 and 2013, after I had already installed 2012 before twice without problems. I tried out every single solution I could find on the internet, but the only thing that worked for me was IE 8 and it might have helped, that Service Pack 1 for WIndows 7 wasn't installed yet.

I was so desperate that I installed windows new and deactivated the search for updates, so I could install the Autodesk programs before anything else, all I had to install for it was some Netframe thing, that it told me to install during the procedure. I know its annoying, I was freaking out too, but maybe that would do the trick for you too since it's exact the same problem.

For some reason a friend of mine who has exact the same system as I have was able to install it although he had all windows updates and the newest internet explorer, so I have no idea what the actual problem behind everything is...

We have solved customer issue by this way. Could you try it?

We saw a few activation problems when tablet drivers are installed in the system.

And was exactly that in my case. The problem was due to a conflict with a Wacom tablet driver installed in the system.

Uninstalling the driver solves the problem.

After that, installing again the driver does not interfere anymore with the product.

Apparently the tablet driver impeaches the activation to go further.

Hope this can help.

I'm having a similar issue.  When I try and activate, it freezes and closes down the program, now allowing me to activate or use the program at all.  Sitting with Building Design Suite 2013 installed and no way to use it.  Tried the IE 9 downgrade and it didn't work.

Thanks for any assistance...
