screen: why my screen splash sometime?

Recently, my monitor will splash suddenly sometimes. I am not sure what
caused this. It may some virus into my system, or some driver problem, or
even monitor have sth wrong. Did anyone experience this before?

Seriously though, can you clarify what you mean by "Splash".
