rest machining

Hi,

I have a pocket op done and figured I would finish with a parallel using rest machining. when parallel rest selected empty tool path results.

I edit to heights needed, shut off rest, and all fine.

How is rest machining used? I have confidence that a key part is missing in my approach.

Since parallel is a finish toolpath I don't think you need rest machining on for it.
