I'm going to be working on a project that involves some very small features and films, on the micron level. Is there any settings in Fusion that I should set to facilitate this? Particularly in the rendering.

I am aware of no settings, but you'll likely run into problems. Such tiny structures are not what Fusion is built for! Sketches can behave strangely on such small scales, for example.

Hi! I believe you may run into modeling errors sooner or later. The issue with micron unit is that the size is slightly bigger than the body geometry tolerance. Also the graphics system may not be able to present or zoom to such tiny geometry closely.

I suggest you create the model regularly in mm. Then scale the geometry to 1/1000 after you are done. How are you going to manufacture the design?

Many thanks!

various deposition methods and probably some micro-scale 3D printing. Still trying to figure that out.

Would you know: if I scale the assembly like this what does it do to the stress and strain calculations?
