command attached to MVblocks, blocks, text question

I am crunching a project out today and I realize I didn't load some code
for helping me with plumbing work....then an idea came to my head. I like
the use of the AecContents but I don't like the DC and the space it takes
up. Currently you need to open the DC if you want to reinsert/attach a tag
and have it do custom commands. How would a program that attaches info the
MVblock, block...etc containing custom commands? ie..just by doing
MvBlockAdd the item added would automatically start custom commands that are
saved to this. This then would stop the need for DC after you inserted the
item once.
I was able to do this with autolayering of the same items and more so this
should be easy to do. Is this something that would be of interest or do
people like working with the DC?

curious. Thanks

If it was something like a door tag, and I wanted to copy it from one door
to another and have it work as though I pulled it from DC, I think that
would be great.
