saving down to 2007 - custom objects not supported by 2007

When trying to save a drawing down to 2007, I receive an error saying the dwg contains custom objects that are not supported by previous versions. Looks like I can try to save the dwg as an AutoCAD-only objects drawing to then be able to save down. Does anyone know how to do this?

Hi,

If you see this message:

Screen shot 2012-06-05 at 7.59.15.pngthen actually AutoCAD will save your drawing in AC 2007 format after you pick "Close" button. You don't have to wary about drawing integrity. In most cases AutoCAD will save everything from AEC objects (at least as PROXY) objects.

As for saving drawing as AutoCAD-only objects - you can use  -EXPORTTOAUTOCAD (yes with hyphen before E letter). There is no help topic in AC for Mac help system for this command, but you can read about it here:

http://exchange.autodesk.com/autocad/enu/online-help/browse#WS1a9193826455f5ffa23ce210c4a30acaf-4b64...

in AC for Win help.

After using  -EXPORTTOAUTOCAD you can safely save your drawing in any format.
