AutoCAD for Mac installation problems-won't install- Help!

Hello Everyone, 

I'm trying to get the 2012 Student version of AutoCAD to work and I'm having difficulties- any help would be much appreciated!

I downloaded the version for Mac and it gets stuck at the install stage  claiming that I am not running OS X.

"AutoCAD 2012 for Mac can't be installed on this disk. You can only install this software on the disk that is running Mac OS X"

I am running Lion OS X 10.7.3 system...so I don't know what I'm doing wrong...

Anyone have any ideas as to whats going on?

Hi,

1. AFAIK you can install AutoCAD only on Startup disk.
