Compund Curves?

Does anyone know how to draw tubing along a compound curve?

What I'm trying to draw is tubing, like you'd get from using the extrusion
or revolve command on a circle, but I want it to curve in 2 dimensions at
once. For example, if you can imagine a piece of tubing that, as it goes
away from you it curves up AND to the right at the same time. The result
looks like an arc no matter which view you look at it from (Top, front or
end views).

Knowing how to do this would be very useful.

Thanks in advance!
