Trouble with material in part-list

Hello everybody,

I have a problem with the material in a standard part.

I got a dwg for Mechanical 2013. In these dwg is a part from inhaltcenter. This part has in opposite to the usual ones already a material. Sadly that is the wrong material. If I overwrite the material with the correct one the color of letters change to blue. Actually no problem but our customer doesn’t like these blue colors it have to change it.

I could replace the bolt by a new one from inhaltcenter without material. There I could write the correct material in the part list. But I don´t want to change all the parts and I would love to understand what happens.

Would be very nice to give me a hint about how this wrong material can be removed from a standard part which actually shouldn’t have a material.

Thank you very much beforehand.

If you change the material in the part file it won't be blue in the BOM.  The blue text is a "signal" that it has been overwritten manually for others whom may use that file later.
